Sweeney Drainage was founded by Joe Sweeney in 1944 primarily to service the agricultural drainage requirements for the West of Scotland. We now cover the whole of the United Kingdom and Ireland 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. His incredible knowledge of drainage coupled with a friendly, caring approach meant that Joe soon became the preferred drainage expert to every farmer in the West of Scotland and beyond.

Today Sweeney Drainage has developed to cover all aspects of drainage and associated services whilst continuing to provide the same excellent service that we offered more than 70 years ago.

The Company is now run by Joe’s two Sons, Brian and Doalty, and Grandson Joe from their headquarters in Glasgow.
